U18s White Vs Rolls Royce Leisure Yellow

The first match of the season & with 2 new players on the team, Makai in goal & Jack in midfield, saw the team start brightly. Eddie & Nathan were looking solid & composed in defence. Jack was bossing the midfield with support from Alex on the right & Coby on the left & Oliver was getting plenty of chances on goal.
As the half drew to a close, we were playing the best football as a 7 a side team since we formed the team.
A couple of enforced changes 5 minutes into the second half, Jack on the end of a nasty tackle with studs down the back of his leg & Eddie tiring at the back, saw us concede 3 quick fire goals as the team lost its shape a little.
We picked up the momentum in the closing stages as Jack returned to the pitch in place of Mikey who had put in a good performance, but had gone over on his ankle.
We Just couldn't find the breakthrough and score a goal the good performance deserved.
We'll take plenty of positives from the game & look ahead to the rest of the season.

Man of the Match was awarded by the parents to Jack on his debut.
