This was the first of 2 away games at Gedling Southbank in the space of a week.
The match was competitive in nature but played in the right sprit by both teams, chances were being created by both teams, but where as last week we were guilty of not converting those chances into goals, this game, we made sure with Jack scoring one & Erick scoring a fine hat trick. The team had to work really hard for the result, as I believe it could have gone either way. Both goalkeepers were in fine form & the save Makai made towards the end of the game was top draw and eased a few jittery nerves. The defensive trio of Mikey Nathan & Coby were on top of their game & will be tested again in the next fixture, but we defended well as a team, starting from the front players. It was also pleasing to see us attacking at pace with support from Eddie, Ben Oliver & Alex.
Well done to the whole team. Erick took Man of the Match for a superb hat trick.
